10/2010 - Present Kennedy space Center, FL: NASA Multimedia Studio Manager and Webmaster
Multimedia Studio Manager and Webmaster in the Information Technology (IT) and Communications Services Directorate, with responsibility for technical and administrative functions. Other responsibilities include developing, analyzing, and evaluating short and long range plans.
• Responsible for performing video production planning, development, and technical project management as well as providing contractor oversight management and implementations.
• Advise on, conduct, and monitor technical managerial functions, making authoritative decisions on variables and unknowns affecting planning, integration, coordination, and critical management problems with respect to safety, costs, and economics, while assuring Branch employees and contractor support provide KSC management and employees with superior customer service.
• Possess an advanced knowledge of project management, supervisory / managerial techniques and practices, and the technical expertise sufficient to establish budget requirements, develop contract modifications, develop and implement products and services.

9/2009 - 10/2010 Kennedy space Center, FL: NASA Applications Engineering and Operations Branch Chief
Currently serving as the Applications Engineering and Operations Branch Chief in the Information Technology (IT) and Communications Services Directorate, with responsibility for technical and administrative functions over the employees within this office. Other responsibilities include developing, analyzing, and evaluating short and long range plans for this Branch, as well as for institutional IT capabilities.
• Responsible for performing aerospace IT planning, development, and technical project management as well as providing contractor oversight management and implementation of state-of-the-art IT systems and software applications.
• Advise on, conduct, and monitor technical managerial functions, making authoritative decisions on variables and unknowns affecting planning, integration, coordination, and critical management problems with respect to safety, costs, and economics, while assuring Branch employees and contractor support provide KSC management and employees with superior customer service.

2/2009 - 8/2009 Washington, DC : NASA Program Executive for the OCIO NASA Enterprise Data Center (NEDC)
Responsible for all NASA Data Center services. Major responsibilities included all aspects of agency-level project management (i.e., integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk and procurement), transition planning, consolidation planning, account reporting, and data center strategies, which included providing recommendations for realignment or expansion of IT Data Center services that caused significant changes in the future direction of IT programs.
• Successfully completed the NEDC Charter, NEDC master schedule, Formulation Authorization Document, Program Commitment Agreement, Summary Investment Business Case (SIBC), performance metrics, NEDC NASA Procedural Requirements (NPR-Draft), NEDC Financial Status Reviews, NEDC phasing plans, NEDC cost variances, the NEDC Project Office budget plan, and the OMB IT Infrastructure Line of Business (ITILoB), Mainframe and Server Systems and Support (MSSS) data call for the Agency. This collection was a means to measure performance of IT infrastructure areas across multiple Federal Agencies.
• Supported the OCIO in agency-level IT Governance actions and planning, provided input to the OCIO Enterprise Service Delivery Roles and Responsibilities that followed Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 standards, and was responsible for the NEDC Service Catalog.
2/2009 - 8/2009 Kennedy Space Center, FL: Project Office Manager for the NASA Enterprise Data Center (NEDC)
Responsible for establishing the NEDC Project Management Office and providing deliverables to the OCIO for the overall implementation of NASA Data Center policy and strategy.
• Created the NEDC Project Management Office, which included the completion of the NEDC Project Office Planning PR, spending plan, Request for Proposal (RFP) / Task Order for contractor support, identifying the NEDC office requirements, evaluating key individuals for project office positions, negotiating office space, procurement of office tools, acquiring office furniture, coordination of office network drops, telephone activation, and developing a work flow process for the team.
• Successfully managed a team and together we completed the NEDC Project Plan, Transition Plan, Deviation Process and Deviation Criteria.
• Conducted analyses, performed site visits, and made recommendations to the Agency OCIO related to possible deviations and identified potential applications for future consolidation into NEDC.
• Responsible for oversight of the contractor technical activities that support office automation and administrative / management systems implementation, including NASA-wide NASA Data Center systems.
6/1989 - 1/2009 Kennedy Space Center, FL: Kennedy Space Center Web Manager
Responsible for collaboration with key agency stakeholders and monitor continuous improvement opportunities for management of all life cycle stages related to policies, standards, processes and best practices specific to NASA's web environment.
• Managed and mentored individuals to best ensure tasks were adequately budgeted, planned, and implemented to established processes and procedures. Responsible for project status, including technical progress, schedules, and possible risk scenarios.
• Acted as Branch Chief for Information Systems, Spaceport Services, and Computer Systems Services Branch on various occasions to provide advice and assistance to the Director and other management to assure integration and validation of budget programs and institutionally-managed requirements.
• Completed Program Operating Plan (POP) requirements for the Internet facility, webcast facility, and the web development team, including developing, preparing, analyzing, estimating, and validating current and long-term project budget plans.
• Managed a growing budget for Kennedy Space Center (KSC) web services, including manpower and direct procurement of hardware/software. Prepared and monitored project schedules for the KSC Internet facility, KSC webcast facility, and web development to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for KSC web policies and procedures, including the KDP-1833, Center web development policy, and KSC DOJ Section 508 implementation plan.
• Managed the Internet facility, webcast facility, and web development team in acquiring and allocating resources to accomplish objectives and related work. Management function included analyzing and reviewing the contractor costs and other costs in relation to development plans.
• Responsible for managing a 24/7 computer data center for External Relations and other KSC organizations.
• Provided technical oversight and assistance to contract negotiation teams, prepared contractor award fee packages/recommendations, and served as the Directorate point of contact on all matters related to budget and contract management.
• Chaired the KSC Webmasters meeting and provided technical support to Public Affairs for the KSC home page, internal web sites/applications, and streaming of video/audio via the web.
• Monitor compliance with agency policies/standards and recommend enforcement procedures.
• Respond to agency report requests and data calls regarding the agency collective web environment/content.
• Continued to improve working relations with supervisors, coworkers, and contractors to ensure the best service possible was provided to our customers.
